Chess Club

The mission of the Chess Club is to engage in Chess games to provide students with the opportunity to develop winning strategies, abstract reasoning and problem-solving skills.

The PCTI Chess club offers students an opportunity to compete and develop their skills in one of the world's oldest board games. The club meets every Thursday after school for games of chess with fellow students from PCTVS. The club does not require students to attend every week, however many students do. Students compete against each other for fun and practice for those also interested in playing on the school's chess team. If you are serious about chess, want to further your understanding of the game or just want to play for fun and meet some great people, come join our club!

Regular chess matches weekly.
