PCTI Raises Big Check Funds to Stomp Out Cancer

Members of Passaic County Technical Institute’s (PCTI) Student Council/Interact and the Class of 2018 joined together to benefit cancer research when they raised money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The school rallied funds by holding a blue jeans day for faculty and staff and by also hosting a Zumba fitness event. These outstanding Bulldogs collected a total of $2,607 to be donated to the charitable organization.

PCTI Advisors Timothy Reilly (Sandyston), Rosa Astacio-Michelini (Wayne), Rachel Sillman (Rockaway), and Robert Nutile (Wayne) join Supervisor of Instruction/Student Activities Jeannie Holman (Hamburg), Principal Dr. Michael Parent, and Susan G. Komen Foundation Representative Gina Fernicola, in showcasing their “big check” donation.
