Alyse Stuber, a junior in the PCTI School of Education and Human Services, shines on the volleyball court as a varsity middle blocker and outside hitter. Her dedication extends beyond school as she also competes with the Dig Volleyball Club, sharpening her skills year-round.
For Alyse, this season is filled with excitement and potential: “I think we're gonna go far in this year’s vo-tech tournament. Hopefully win it three years in a row.” Her confidence reflects not only her own hard work but also the talent of her teammates.
When she’s not in practice or at games, Alyse enjoys spending time with family and friends, balancing her love for volleyball with her life outside the court.
She shares a special message for her teammates: “Shout out to my team. I guess they’re like built-in friends. They were very welcoming when I joined the team.”

Jayell Pallero, a senior in the PCTI Academy of Finance, is making his mark as part of the Boys Cross Country team. In addition to cross country, Jayell is a well-rounded Bulldog athlete, also competing in both Winter and Spring Track.
This season has been especially meaningful for him as it marks his first year running cross country: “It’s my first cross country, so it’s going pretty good. I think we’re on track to win counties and state sectionals.” His positive outlook and determination reflect his commitment to helping the team succeed.
Outside of athletics, Jayell enjoys spending time with friends, playing video games, and staying active with pickleball.
He shares his gratitude for those who support him: “I want to thank my team and my coach for nominating me for this position. Also, my friends, they help push me to do better.”
Looking ahead, Jayell is considering a future in finance or psychology after graduation.
