Passaic County Tech Girls Swim just made history in the pool!
Congratulations to the PCTI Girls Swim Team for defeating Morristown to capture the program’s first-ever State Sectional Championship in school history. This win is also a milestone beyond our campus. PCTI is now home to the first girls swim team in Passaic County history to earn a sectional title.
This team delivered when it mattered most, swimming with grit, heart, and determination from start to finish. Our seniors helped set the standard all season long through their leadership and relentless work ethic: Naiara Castrillon, Leah Ciabattoni, Cheka Cordero, Julia Lo, Alyssa Aranibar, Valentina Dominguez, Ashly Dominguez, Ellie Macaluso, and Danna Tapia.
Key contributions also came from Nadalyn Castrillon, Maya MacCracken, and Soraya Parker, who put in huge efforts to help lock down the victory. A special shoutout goes to Charly Macaranas, who trusted her instincts and won both of her individual events to help power PCTI past Morristown.
These Bulldogs didn’t just win a championship. They set a new standard and cemented their place in school and county history. Congratulations to our record setters and history makers!
