The PCTI Engineering Club focuses on robotics in three main competitive directions and participates in local, regional, and nationwide competitions in robot design skills and computer programming: VEX robotics, FTC, and SeaPerch (underwater robotics, in cooperation with NJROTC). The club also competes at the North Jersey Robotics Competition, where our teams routinely win the top awards. The club is open to any interested student willing to devote time and effort in building team success while learning engineering and programming.
The mission of PCTI’s Engineering Club is to provide the opportunity for students to learn and apply engineering skills and insights in robot designs, programming, and problem-solving while working as a team in competitive environment.
The club meets twice a week after school or more as needed to prepare for the competitions. Competitions are usually held on weekends.
