PSAT Registration

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Passaic County Technical Institute will be administering the The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) test on Saturday, October 14, 2017. The PSAT/NMSQT is a two hour and forty-five minute practice test that prepares students for taking the SAT. Students who perform exceptionally well on the PSAT/NMSQT can qualify for scholarship programs. Also, the score reports can give you insight into which Advanced Placement courses your child may be ready to take in the future.

Any grade 9, 10, or 11 student can elect to take the PSAT/NMSQT. The cost of the test is $21.00. The registration process will end on October 10th or whenever all seats have been filled and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. We urge you to sign up as early as possible.

UPDATE 10/3/17: Transportation to and from PCTI will be provided for students taking the PSAT/NMSQT. Buses will pick up students at the following locations and times:

Students will be dropped off at the same locations at approximately 12:20pm. Parents or Guardians may elect to pick up their child at PCTI after the testing has concluded.
