“Wreaths Across America” Educational Exhibit Visits PCTVS in First-of-its-Kind Patriotic Experience

It was an outstanding day highlighting the highest form of patriotism and remembrance as Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools (PCTVS) was honored to welcome “Wreaths Across America” to campus on September 26th for the organization’s first-of-its-kind visit to a high school district! This unique educational opportunity enabled over 600 students, staff, veterans and guests to participate in remembrance activities and learn about our nation’s fallen soldiers and veterans.

PCTVS has a proud history of patriotism and pride, and we were thrilled to participate in this phenomenal opportunity! This exciting, first-of-its-kind event captivated the PCTVS community as they experienced the engaging mobile educational exhibit, which supports the organization’s motto of “Remember, Honor, Teach”. During the event, students and guests participated in an array of activities including informative presentations and interactive wreath-making demonstrations. Local veterans were also in attendance and were specially recognized for their service and sacrifice. Through such activities, PCTVS students learned firsthand about the values of freedom as well as service to our nation and communities.

Due to PCTVS’ unwavering dedication to remembrance and patriotism, “Wreaths Across America” chose PCTVS to be the first high school district to host the educational exhibit in this groundbreaking event! “Wreaths Across America” is dedicated to educating younger generations about veterans’ service and patriotism, and the importance of remembering the sacrifices they made to ensure our freedoms.

“We were overjoyed to be selected by ‘Wreaths Across America’ for this incredible opportunity, and all students and guests thoroughly enjoyed the Mobile Museum,” said Diana C. Lobosco, Chief School Administrator of PCTVS. “We look forward to future collaborations with this wonderful organization as we continue our dedication to remembrance and service initiatives.”
