PCTVS Student Launches Fundraiser to Help Healthcare Workers Fight COVID-19

Duaa Raza, a sophomore studying Biomedical and Life Sciences at the STEM Academy, is doing her part in the fight against COVID-19! Duaa is determined to assist those in need and launched a fundraising initiative to purchase supplies and equipment for healthcare workers on the front lines of the coronavirus crisis.

Duaa has volunteered at Chilton Medical Center in Pequannock and was inspired to help the brave healthcare workers who are in need of supplies during this challenging time. After coordinating with the Manager of the Foundation Office at Chilton, Duaa launched a GoFundMe page to raise money and started an Instagram account to share statistics, facts and updates on her campaign’s progress.

To date, the campaign has raised over $300, and Duaa’s goal is to keep the momentum going and raise $500. All funds will be donated to Chilton Medical Center to purchase medical supplies and equipment. Duaa Raza (Wayne) is eager to continue her fundraising efforts to benefit healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis.
