The student-led assembly included a special tribute to first responders, a video presentation created by students demonstrating the importance of remembering that fateful day, and a showcase video highlighting various 9/11 memorials around the world.
PCTVS was proud to welcome 9/11 first responders Joe Allegra and Tom Fahy of the Passaic County Sheriff’s SERT as special guest speakers.
“Nearly two decades after 9/11, the painful memory of that dreadful day still reverberates through our society,” said Diana C. Lobosco, Chief School Administrator of PCTVS. “As such, it is paramount for our students and PCTVS community to remember the bravery of first responders and to honor those who so unfairly lost their lives. This assembly gives our students the opportunity to reflect, remember and unite for a peaceful future.”
