In a demonstration of hard work and dedication, three high-achieving students from Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) were named Gold and Silver medal winners of the SkillsUSA State Competition!
Both Juniors in PCTI’s School of Education & Human Services program, Misty Skupienski was named a Gold medal winner and Jennifer Castro took home the Silver medal in the “Early Childhood Education” section of this annual statewide competition. Additionally, Kyle Guell, a Junior in PCTI’s School of Automotive Technology, earned a Gold medal in the competition’s “Auto Maintenance” category. All three students exemplified the value of a career and technical education (CTE), skill, and talent as they competed against many other students from across New Jersey.
In recognition of their outstanding accomplishments, Misty, Jennifer and Kyle will receive Gold and Silver placement medals.
