Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools Welcomes Representatives from Mountain Lakes School District for Collaborative Meeting

In a demonstration of collaboration and mutual learning, Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools (PCTVS) was thrilled to welcome nine representatives from Mountain Lakes School District to its state-of-the-art Wayne campus! Representing Career and Technical Education (CTE) and traditional education approaches respectively, administrators from PCTVS and Mountain Lakes discussed technology, classroom resources and curriculum offerings offered within both districts.

This meeting marked the first time that representatives from the two school districts met to collaborate on educational efforts, share ideas and enhance instructional approaches. PCTVS, an award-winning CTE school district, provided guests with a tour of the STEM Academy and showcased its array of innovative laboratories, open learning spaces and other resources.

Mountain Lakes School District, a top-rated K-12 school district in New Jersey, has recently added Makers Space and Science Labs to their schools, highlighting their dedication to technology and innovation. As such, representatives were eager to learn more about PCTVS’ state-of-the-art amenities and gained valuable insight into the district’s CTE approach.

“We were extremely pleased to welcome representatives from Mountain Lakes School District to our campus,” said Diana C. Lobosco, Chief School Administrator of PCTVS. “The meeting yielded mutually beneficial outcomes as we shared ideas and engaged in constructive conversations about our educational structures. We look forward to working with Mountain Lakes School District in the future!”
