PCTI’s Bulldogs “Take Action” with Week of Events

During the week of April 8 th , students and faculty of Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) put a spotlight on important topics with the Bulldogs Take Action Week. Each day highlighted a specific topic and was sponsored by one of the following school organizations: the Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute (TI@ti), LEAP, National Honor Society, and Student Council/Interact. Members of the PCTI family showcased their support by wearing different color shirts each day.

Monday was dedicated to Bullying Prevention and was represented by the color blue. Tuesday was reserved for purple and Suicide Awareness. Wednesday was known as Helping Hand and encouraged participants to wear green. Thursday brought attention to Drug & Alcohol Awareness with red. Friday was reserved for See It, Say It and the color orange. In addition to wearing colors that showcased their support, PCTI faculty and students were also challenged to complete tasks that accented each daily theme.

PCTI’s Bulldogs Take Action Week brought attention to a host of important topics. The event also empowered all who participated to actively help others.
