PCTI Ranks 2nd in the Nation: W!se 100 Best High Schools

Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI), the career and technical high school in Wayne, NJ, recently placed 2nd in the nation on the 2019 “100 Best W!se High Schools Teaching Personal Finance” list. W!se is known as a leading educational nonprofit program that develops the financial literacy of young Americans. Earning a place on the “100 Best” list means that PCTI students received outstanding scores on W!se’s national standardized Financial Literacy Certification Test.

The “100 Best” ranking is the only national ranking in high school financial education. It was created by W!se to recognize schools of excellence in its national network of schools that participate in the Financial Literacy Certification program. The program is offered at high schools in 48 states and supports personal finance. It also provides students with an opportunity to become Certified Financially Literate™ if they pass the program’s Financial Literacy Certification Test after receiving instruction.

PCTI Instructors Julissa Rodriguez (Woodland Park) and Richard Glueck (Metuchen) celebrate the W!se accomplishment with Sebastian Nicolas Marmolejos (Paterson), Jenna Abreu (Haledon), and Brandon Cordero (Paterson).
