PCTI Earns Bronze at Annual County Cook-Off

Students of Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) were invited to participate in the 8th Annual County Vocational-Technical School Cook-Off Challenge where their delectable Short Rib Voulevant earned them the People’s Choice Bronze Award! Achieving this feat saw that the school received $250 in scholarship funds.

Held at Caesars in Atlantic City, eleven teams from throughout the state battled for top honors. Each team was evaluated in the categories of taste, station display, presentation, and ultimately favorite dish. Judges included NJAC members, professional chefs, and conference attendees.

Competing in the 8th Annual Cook-Off Challenge was a valuable work-based learning experience for all involved! Congratulations to PCTI for taking home the People’s Choice Bronze Award!
