Brianna was judged based on the strength of technical and artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement, which includes an assessment of a self-choreographed solo video, answering essay questions, GPA and transcript evaluation, and submitting a recommendation letter and resume. She is just one of sixteen students to receive this award in New Jersey and is now eligible to advance to the national level.
