PCTI Awards Wise Distinctions

Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) has been recognized by W!se – “Working in Support of Education,” a program which strives to prepare students for the future by teaching them to become financially literate in all areas of education. The career and technical high school is among the two-hundred and fifty eight high schools in the programs national network to be named a Blue Star School! Students achieved an average score of 80% or higher, making them Certified Financially Literate™, thereby earning them the prestigious title.

PCTI was recognized for their accomplishment at the prestigious 16 th National Money Power Conference for Financial Literacy on November 6 th in New York City. Achieving this tremendous feat ensures that students retain vital knowledge about their personal finances and are provided with the tools necessary for them to become financially capable young adults.
