Partnership Between PCTI & WPUNJ Fosters Wonderful Music

Students of Passaic County Technical Institute’s (PCTI) Performing Arts Music program have partnered with William Paterson University to foster an educationally enriching endeavor. A component of the college course, Teaching Strategies for Instrumental Music, saw that senior WPUNJ music students were partnered with PCTI students. By meeting four times over a month-long period, students of the career and technical high school received valuable one-on-one lessons from college mentors.

The joint project culminated with a recital celebrating the joys of music education at William Paterson University.
