PCTI Students Get Creative Advice from American Author Wil Mara

Creative Writing students of Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) were treated to an exciting presentation by American Author Wil Mara, who provided those in attendance with tips of the writing trade. As an author of thirty years and having written fiction and nonfiction for both children and adults, Wil’s unique perspective and entertaining presentation was an engaging and fun experience for all involved.

Wil Mara is known for his novels Frame 232 (which made the NY Times list), the Wave, the Gemini Virus, and the Nevada Testament. His 2005 football novel The Draft was the basis for the film Draft Day which starred Kevin Costner and Jennifer Gardner.
