PCTI Opens Year with Record Number of Students

Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI), celebrated the first official day of classes on Wednesday, September 6th with a record-breaking 3,500 students resuming their educational endeavors – more than nine-hundred of which were incoming freshmen.

Both students and faculty were welcomed back with the spirited school year theme, We Are., which celebrates the unique identity of the largest career and technical high school in New Jersey. PCTI is known for offering an immersive educational experience through its four academies and ten schools which allows students to learn about the careers of Finance, Culinary Arts, Medical Arts, Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology, and Criminal Justice - to name a few.

In September of 2018, PCTI continues to give students an educational edge in the global marketplace with the opening of the brand-new STEM facility. More information about the up-and-coming program can be gathered at the school’s Open House which will be held on Saturday September 16th from 10am-3pm.
