PCTI Football Players Sign with Universities

On Wednesday February 7th, Passaic County Technical Institute’s (PCTI) Athletic Department held a ceremony to honor senior members of the 2017 Varsity Football Team for completing letters of intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the Division II and NJCAA Division I/II level. Coach Demarest and the Bulldogs proudly celebrated the signing of Ahmad Rabah (DE/TE) to American International College (Division II) and Joshua Giles (DE/DT) to Lackawanna College (NJCAA Region 19-Division I/II). The process, more formally known as the NLI (National Letter of Intent) Signing Day, presents an opportunity for high school student-athletes to officially commit to the college or university of their choosing.

Ahmad and Joshua were standout defensive lineman on a ferocious Bulldog Defense. They helped the team earn its first North Jersey Super Football Conference Liberty-Red Division title and qualified the Bulldogs for their fifth consecutive NJSIAA appearance with a nine-win campaign.
