PCTI Alumni Bound for Success with PCCC & NASA

Graduates of Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) are pursuing excellence through Passaic County Community College’s NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS) Program. In 2017, seven former PCTI students were accepted into the NCAS program, which makes up a whopping twenty-one percent of the program’s total acceptance rate.

PCTI Superintendent Diana C. Lobosco welcomed back alumni to congratulate them on achieving an “out of this world” opportunity. On their outstanding accomplishment, she said, “We are so proud of our graduates who continue to thrive after high school. Your drive and commitment to achievement is paramount to laying the foundation for a successful future.”

The NCAS program is part PCCC’s STEM initiative that provides college students with an education in some of the fastest growing sectors of industry careers. Scholars have the opportunity to work on projects with NASA engineers, educators, and scientists.
