PCTI Celebrates Wellness with Special Day

Wayne, NJ – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) held its first annual Wellness Day, which encouraged students to learn about stress and relief and mental health resources. Counselors and nurses were on hand to provide guidance and blood pressure screenings. The event was hosted in the school’s lobby and featured a table in honor of the Orange Project – a global movement that reduces the stigma of suicide and raises awareness about its prevention by encouraging students to write inspiring words sticky notes.

Christopher Valencia (Clifton) collects sticky notes as part of the global Orange Project initiative during PCTI’s Wellness Day event.
