Celebrating a Golden Era with Fifty Years of Service

Wayne, NJ – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Mae Remer, a lifetime resident of Clifton, has the type of drive and dedication that is truly timeless. For the past fifty years, she has served nobly as a conscientious employee of Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI), with titles that include Secretary to the MDTA Director, Assistant Board Secretary, and her title since 1984, Board Secretary.

Throughout the years, Mae has been hailed as the “go to” person when seeking information about PCTI employment, benefits, or retirement. Her unparalleled expertise has earned her the candid title of “keeper of records,” a coy reference to her penchant of finding files when no one else can.

Her compassion and immense generosity is praised by all who work with her. For her extraordinary accomplishment, Mae Remer was honored with both a Board of Education Proclamation and a Freeholder Proclamation at PCTI’s February 23rd board meeting.

Passaic County Technical Institute is deeply honored to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments and longevity of Board Secretary, Mae Remer. Congratulations!
