New Head Football Coach

Headline: New Head Football Coach Declared!

PCTI is pleased to announce the new Head Football Coach for 2012-2013. Matthew Demarest is taking the reins, following the successes of previous Head Coach, John Iurato. John has been the Head Coach since 1989 and will now serve as the teams’ Assistant Coach.

Matthew Demarest’s experience in athletics makes him an invaluable candidate for the job. He has been PCTI’s Assistant Football coach for the past 18 years, serving as both Defensive and Special Teams Coordinator. He was also the Assistant Baseball Coach and continues to serve as the Assistant Wrestling Coach.

Demarest graduated from West Milford HS (1990) and Trenton State College (1994) where he excelled in football. He furthered his education with a Master’s degree from William Paterson University.

When asked about his coaching philosophy, Matthew Demarest had this to say, “I make a commitment to my football players … that I will provide them with the best environment to succeed both on and off the field.”

PCTI’s football team has won two state tournament titles and numerous conference championships. Under the guidance of their new Head Coach Matthew Demarest, they’re sure to continue adding more victories to their achievements!
