Preseason Information/Summer ConditioningDear Student Athletes and Families,
Welcome to the 2018 season of Bulldog Volleyball! We are very excited about the upcoming season, and we are looking forward to making it a successful one! Summer workouts for Girls Volleyball will be held 8:00 am to 11:00 am Tuesday through Thursday beginning July 10, 2018 and ending July 26, 2018. Summer workouts are for incoming freshmen, players who are interested in trying out for volleyball in August, returning junior varsity, and returning varsity athletes that have received their physical clearance from the nurse’s office or family doctor's office. Without your name on the nurse’s cleared list, you will NOT be permitted to participate!
Players should be dressed in athletic attire that does not limit them from participating in activities. Shorts, sports bras, t-shirts or tank tops, and comfortable running shoes are required. If you have knee pads, you should bring them; however, we do not encourage players to purchase knee pads prior to knowing if they will be on the volleyball team. Please arrive at summer workouts at least 10 minutes prior to the start time if you are being dropped off. Also, make sure that your ride returns approximately 10 minutes prior to the conclusion of the workout.
For those of you who are looking for information regarding tryouts for the 2018 volleyball season, tryouts will begin on August 13, 2018. Players MUST attend tryouts in order to be considered as a potential candidate for the volleyball team. All players who make the team are expected to be present from this point on. Volleyball is a major commitment. Please make sure that you are committed to your improvement, the growth of a team, and the expansion of a program.
- Incoming Freshmen – Bus Pickups 7:15/7:30 (8-10:30)
- Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors – Bus Pickups 9:30/9:45 (10:30-1:00) (only 8/13 & 8/14); 8/15 begins 7:15/7:30 (8-11:00)
