All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. Opponent: Old Tappan Location: Away Score: Score: 13 (PCTVS) vs. 5 (Opponent) Highlights: The PCTI ladies softball team Extended their win streak to 6 in a row with a 13 to 5 victory over Old Tappan.
Taylor Brown and Isabella Cruz led the offense with 3 hits each and 5 rbi's and Madison McMurray had 2 hits 3 runs scored and won her 5th game on the mound with 7 strike outs.

- In honor of Earth Day this coming Monday, April 22, the PCTVS Wellness Center, in partnership with the organization Food in Hand, is pleased to present a session addressing the topic of Food Waste and its Environmental Impact. Join us as we discuss and understand our relationship with food and the environment, participate in activities, and have a chance to win our raffle! The session will be held in the Wellness Center during PCTI's period 7 (1:30pm). Please use the link in the announcements to sign up!
- Congratulations to the PCTVS Jazz Band! On Friday night, the Jazz Band performed at Sparta High School’s Jazz Festival and received a “Gold” rating from the judges. The Jazz Band also received the “Best Rhythm Section Award,” and senior band member Bryan Castillo received an “Outstanding Soloist Award.” Kudos to the PCTVS Jazz Band for their outstanding achievements!

Opponent: Dwight-Morrow Location: Home Score: Score: 2 (PCTVS) vs. 1 (Opponent) Highlights: The varsity boys volleyball team defeated Dwight-Morrow, 2-1. The team was led by Nate X. Addison's 10 kills, while Kacper Nieradka and Samih Abbassi each chipped in 9 kills as well. Gavin Wong added 6 kills and 13 service points. Elliot Rivera paced the offense with 30 assists. Other key contributors were Michael Egusquiza, Jayden Vasquez, and James Ren. Great job, boys!

Isabella Cruz, Ki Marah Goodwin, Jaelynn Collazo and Emily Washburn added key hits to power the Lady Bulldogs.

- Yesterday's first ever district-wide Multicultural Fair was a huge success. TI@ti's Multicultural Fair Committee would like to thank the administration, especially Mrs. Bascomb & Mrs. Holman, our TI advisors Ms. Espinosa and Ms. Ramirez, the advisors from the World Language Honor Society, Ms. Chavez-Cortez and Ms. Gibaldi, and the advisors from ERASE, Mr. Diaz and Mrs. Karaisaridis for all of their support. They'd also like to thank the Communication Technicians Matt and Ruy, Manny and the Maintenance Staff, and Security for helping us set up and execute our event. Finally, a huge congratulations to all the students from STEM Academy & PCTI, who participated and shared their delicious cultural foods, beautiful art, interesting history, and amazing talents with the school. TI@ti promotes a substance free lifestyle and yesterday's multicultural fair was created to foster inclusivity throughout PCTVS and promote natural highs such as eating, dancing, laughing, and learning about new cultures. We hope everyone had a great time!

Opponent: Paramus Location: Away Score: Score: 193 (PCTVS) vs. 199 (Opponent) Highlights: The girls golf team topped Paramus yesterday, tying their low score of the year with a 193. The bulldogs were led by Sofia Pangan’s 37, followed by Sophia Volpes career low 48. Morgan Lee shot a 53, with the scoring being rounded out by Thea Westhelle, Audrey Yi and Dailisa Robles.

Big hits from Savannah Czornomor, Kaitlyn Reilly, Islynn Lugo and Lena Porporino. Great pitching from Ava LoConte & Skylar Glisson helped the bulldogs secure this great win! Great job girls lets keep up the good work!

Opponent: Depaul Location: Home Score: Score: 14 (PCTVS) vs. 0 (Opponent) Highlights: The Bulldogs earned the victory on Wednesday night by defeating Depaul 14-0. Ella Aranda made plays all over the field, as she scored 2 touchdowns, 1 rushing, and 1 receiving touchdown. The touchdown through the air was thrown by Jazzy Miranda. Alana Anton and Taylor Giles converted the extra points. The defense was led by Angelica Vega with 2 interceptions. Come support the team next Thursday night as they travel to Passaic for an important divisional game.

- Last Friday And Saturday the boys and Girls track teams both won the Passaic County Relays in dominating fashion. The boys team score 148 points out of a possible 160 points winning 13 of the 16 events. The girls won by 40 points and had strong perfromances by multiple girls. To end the weekend off Michale Vargas was selected as the Records Athlete of the week. Stand up MICHAEL!!! Congrats to Michael and all the track athletes for a great performance.
- The PCTI World Language Honor Society extends their gratitude to everyone who participated in and supported this year’s Pulsera Project Sale. We are incredibly proud to have raised over [525],700 as this marks our biggest sale to date! All proceeds will benefit artisan communities in Central America. The dynamic duo of Amaya Preston and Raffaela Porporino combined to pitch seven shutout innings. The team was led offensively by Islynn Lugo, Savannah Czornomor, and Akeelah Clark. Come out today to triple A field to cheer on the Bulldogs as they take on Clifton.

Opponent: Bergen Tech Location: Home Score: Score: 11 (PCTVS) vs. 4 (Opponent) Highlights: The Boys Lacrosse Team had a big 11-4 win against Bergen Tech to even their record at 3-3 for the year. The Bulldogs were led by seniors Nate Harris, Nicco Fasoli, and Josh Paez with 3 goals each. Jack Donovan, Evan Reyes, and Scott Nayda each chipped in with 2 assists. Come out and support the boys this Saturday at 10 AM where we will honor the seniors!

Opponent: Bergen Catholic Location: Away Score: Score: 7 (PCTVS) vs. 5 (Opponent) Highlights: Congratulations to the Freshman Baseball team on improving their record to 4-0 on the season after defeating Bergen Catholic on Monday afternoon by a score of 7-5. The Bulldogs had outstanding pitching from Jackson Burger, Andres Urdaneta, and Cooper Juhlin. Offensively, they were led by great at bats from John Galka, Tyler Meyers, Cody Lui, and Vincenzo Caruso. The Bulldogs look to keep things rolling against Don Bosco Prep today at 4pm.

Opponent: Northern Highlands Location: Home Score: Score: 12 (PCTVS) vs. 1 (Opponent) Highlights: The JV softball team had an impressive victory over Northern Highlands, with a final score of 12-1. This win brings their record to 5-1 for the season. Marcella pitched a stellar game, striking out 6 batters. Gianna A and Ava R each went 3-3 with 3 runs. The team put on a fantastic performance overall. Congratulations on the well-deserved win!

- Congratulations to the PCTVS Jazz Band! On Friday night, the Jazz Band performed at Sparta High School’s Jazz Festival and received a “Gold” rating from the judges. The Jazz Band also received the “Best Rhythm Section Award,” and senior band member Bryan Castillo received an “Outstanding Soloist Award.” Kudos to the PCTVS Jazz Band for their outstanding achievements!

- Yesterday's first ever district-wide Multicultural Fair was a huge success. TI@ti's Multicultural Fair Committee would like to thank the administration, especially Mrs. Bascomb & Mrs. Holman, our TI advisors Ms. Espinosa and Ms. Ramirez, the advisors from the World Language Honor Society, Ms. Chavez-Cortez and Ms. Gibaldi, and the advisors from ERASE, Mr. Diaz and Mrs. Karaisaridis for all of their support. They'd also like to thank the Communication Technicians Matt and Ruy, Manny and the Maintenance Staff, and Security for helping us set up and execute our event. Finally, a huge congratulations to all the students from STEM Academy & PCTI, who participated and shared their delicious cultural foods, beautiful art, interesting history, and amazing talents with the school. Alana Anton and Taylor Giles converted the extra points. The defense was led by Angelica Vega with 2 interceptions. The boys team score 148 points out of a possible 160 points winning 13 of the 16 events. The girls won by 40 points and had strong perfromances by multiple girls. To end the weekend off Michale Vargas was selected as the Records Athlete of the week. Stand up MICHAEL!!! Congrats to Michael and all the track athletes for a great performance.

- The Student Council / Interact Club is hosting a Mother's Day Flower Pot sale. All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. Flower pots will be an assortment of geraniums, petunias and impatiens available in two sizes: 5" pot for .00 or a 6.5" pot for .00. Orders can be placed Monday, April 8th - Monday, April 29th by seeing a Student Council member, Mrs. Rettenbert or Ms. Sillman, as well as scanning flyers posted around school or using the following link. Orders will be delivered to PCTVS and picked up in the Auditorium Lobby on Friday, May 10th.

- Starting on Thursday, September 14th, The School Counseling Department will be hosting College Application Workshops to help seniors with their college applications. These workshops will run on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:15 pm to 4:30 pm in F120. We encourage all PCTVS seniors who need assistance with the college application process to attend!
