Passaic County Technical Institute’s resident basketball star, Kierona Morton, has signed with North Carolina Central University (NCCU)! She will pursue an outstanding athletic career after graduation.

This Paterson local is a true force to be reckoned with. She averages 10.3 points per game with 5.1 rebounds. Kierona was team captain for two years and her best game was against Kennedy when she was a junior. She scored 26 points with 11 rebounds. This earned her the Team MVP title.

Her signing with North Carolina Central University has earned her a full athletic scholarship. Kierona will go on to study accounting in the fall.
