Incoming Meeting for Parents of Incoming Freshmen Student-Athletes

Incoming freshmen students who are interested in participating on a PCTVS athletic team, along with their parents/guardians, are invited to attend an informative presentation at PCTVS on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. This will be a beneficial program that will help first-year students/families get acclimated to Bulldog Athletics and better understand expectations and the sport offerings presented to the newest members of our Bulldog Family. The meeting is open to all incoming student-athletes and their parents/guardians interested in athletics at Passaic County Technical Vocational Schools, the meeting is critical for those interested in participating in a Fall 2023 sport (Football, Soccer, Cheerleading, Cross Country, Girls Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Girls Field Hockey)

The program will begin promptly at 6:00 PM on July 5, 2023, in the Frank D. Zaccaria Auditorium at PCTI, located in the main lobby adjacent to the gymnasium. Your attendance is requested, especially for all expected fall athletic participation. Topics to be discussed will include an introduction to PCTVS interscholastic sport offerings, medical physicals, eligibility, health guidelines as they pertain to athletics, sportsmanship, and “in-season” injury procedures. After this presentation, parents will have the opportunity to meet with our fall coaching staff (Football, Soccer, Cross Country, Cheerleading, Girls Volleyball, Girls Tennis and Girls Field Hockey). Also, a formal registration for fall sports for first-year students (boys/girls) will occur at this meeting.
