Highlights: The varsity boys volleyball team defeated Paterson Arts, 2-0, in the first round of the Passaic County Tournament. Kacper Nieradka and Nate X. Addison led the charge with 8 kills apiece. Leandro Nizama, Michael Egusquiza, and Arman Aydin each chipped in aces. Elliot Rivera paced the attack with 23 assists. And Roman Manzo led the back row defense all game long. The team will play at Clifton High School on Saturday in the quarterfinal round. Go Bulldogs!

Highlights: The boys lacrosse team made history beating Wayne Hills 14-12 for the first time and advancing to the semifinals in the Passaic County Tournament. The Bulldogs were led by outstanding performances from Nicco Fasoli with 4 goals and 4 assists, while Josh Paez and Evan Reyes chipped in with 4 goals each themselves. Scott Nayda played a key role in the effort with 4 assists. Anthony Klimzcuk had 8 saves in the win.

- Congratulations to the PCTVS Jazz Band! On Thursday night, the Jazz Band performed at West Milford High School’s Jazz Festival and received a “Gold” rating from the judges. The Jazz Band also received the “Outstanding Trumpet Section Award” and the “Best Rhythm Section Award.” Band members Bryan Castillo, Javier Ramon Brito, and Manny Cruz also received Soloist Awards at the event. Kudos to the PCTVS Jazz Band for their outstanding achievements!

- Congratulations to the PCTVS Jazz Band! On Thursday night, the Jazz Band performed at West Milford High School’s Jazz Festival and received a “Gold” rating from the judges. The Jazz Band also received the “Outstanding Trumpet Section Award” and the “Best Rhythm Section Award.” Band members Bryan Castillo, Javier Ramon Brito, and Manny Cruz also received Soloist Awards at the event. Highlights: The girls golf team won the girls Passaic County Tournament yesterday for the first time in school history, by shooting a season low 9 hole score of 183. The girls were led by the tournaments individual champion. Sofia Pangan who shot 38, Morgan Lee who finished 4th with a 49 and Thea Westhelle who finished 5th with a 50. Megan Mongare rounded out the team total with other contributions to the win coming from Sophia Volpe, Audrey Yi, Dailisa Robles and Shereen Stuherck.

- Congratulations to our STEM Students for winning in the NJ Skills competitions. Muhammad Haseeb, Brahin Uddin, and Avi Shah took home silver. - Congratulations to the PCTVS Jazz Band! On Saturday night, the PCTVS Jazz Band performed at the NJAJE State HS Jazz Band Finals Festival. The night was filled with amazing performances by some of the state's best high school Jazz Bands. Highlights: The JV Boys Volleyball team had a big win over Bergen Tech on Wednesday to improve their record to 8-2. Julian, Adrian, Mike, Tyler, Wyatt, Wylan, Matthew, and Nick all fought until the end to secure the victory. Great job, boys!
- The School Counseling Department is providing an after-school support program for all interested PCTVS students. Counselors will be available for academic and personal support on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30 in the PCTI C-Wing School Counseling Office. - The Student Council / Interact Club is hosting a Mother's Day Flower Pot sale. All proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes, a nonprofit organization committed to ending preventable maternal health risks and death, ending preventable preterm birth and infant death and closing the health equity gap for all families. Flower pots will be an assortment of geraniums, petunias and impatiens available in two sizes: 5" pot for .00 or a 6.5" pot for .00. Orders can be placed Monday, April 8th - Monday, April 29th by seeing a Student Council member, Mrs. Rettenbert or Ms. Sillman, as well as scanning flyers posted around school or using the following link. Orders will be delivered to PCTVS and picked up in the Auditorium Lobby on Friday, May 10th.
- The School of Performing Arts Class of 2024 will present The Choreography Showcase on Friday, April 26th at 7:00pm in the auditorium. Tickets are free but you must reserve your seat at pcti.booktix.com.
- Attention students interested in joining PCTVS's Color Guard. Try outs for next year's squad will be Thursday May 2nd in the STEM gymnasium. Practices to prepare for try outs will be April 15th, 16th, 24th, and May 1st also held in the STEM gymnasium. Reach out to Ms. Baker or Ms. Andriac with any questions.
- Attention STEM Class of 2025: The College Application Essay Workshop is BACK and open to all Juniors! Whether you're struggling to begin your essay or just need help with final touches, join this workshop to get the support you need! The workshop will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:05-4:05 PM beginning April 17th through May 23rd. - The STEM World language Honor society, STEM national Honor society and Skills USA will be hosting a food drive for Great Falls Rotary Foundation - Military Assistance Pantry. Please support local families in our community by placing a non perishable food item for collection in the boxes located at the STEM's main lobby. Starting April 17th through April 30th.
- The Christian Student Association will meet on Wednesday, 5-8-24, in HX 106 at 3:00 PM in the automotive building. The large garage door will be open for access. All are welcome!!

Highlights: On Wednesday, the JV Tennis Team played their most exceptional game of the season yet, where they defeated Bergen Catholic 4 to 1! On the first double's court, Adam Rhfiri and Jeremy Sanchez kept their opponents at bay with their exceptional rallies and difficult returns. While Djordje Kojic and Luca Manzella kept their match short and sweet with a quick win. These matches were definitely ones to watch. Keep up the momentum gentlemen!

Highlights: The girls golf team evened their record at 4-4 by topping Wayne Valley at Preakness Valley golf course Tuesday. The team was led by Sofia Pangan who shot 46 and Thea Westhelle who shot a career low 48. Morgan Lee, Sophia Volpe and Sherry Stuherck were also contributors in the victory. The girls wil compete in the Big North Tournament this Thursday at Valley Brook Golf Course.
